Petia Zinovieva is an Honours graduate from the Acupuncture Practitioner program at the International Academy of Health Science and Traditional Chinese Medicine in Ottawa. Petia began her career in health science in Bulgaria as a midwife, continuing her education to become a Medical Doctor shortly after. Having practiced medicine for 10 years, Petia moved to Canada where she obtained her degree in acupuncture. Today she applies previous experience to her practice of acupuncture, uniting eastern and western medicine. She uses Tui Na Chinese massage and acupuncture in easing women through pregnancy, post-partum recovery (depression, weight loss, lactation and low-back pain) and in aiding to treat infertility. As a mother of two, she completely understands the problems during and post-pregnancy and puts great passion into helping women through this important time.
