Alexandra Gaw

Alexandra Gaw

Alexandra Gaw graduated from Algonquin College in 2010 after completing the Massage Therapy Advanced Diploma Program, and has been working at Anna Belanger & Associates since March of 2011. She is in good standing with The College of Massage Therapists of Ontario (CMTO) and a member of the Registered Massage Therapists Association of Ontario (RMTAO).

She has developed a unique style of massage which can be described as a firm and flowing touch, with a restorative result. She brings warmth and confidence to each treatment and her experience varies from pre and post-natal massage, deep tissue, and general well being. She cares deeply about each one of her clients and their experience while in her care.

Alex maintains her own well being by regularly walking her dog in the forest, weightlifting and spending quality time with family and friends.


Allison Gunn

Allison Gunn

Allison is an Honours graduate of the Algonquin college Massage Therapy program, and is currently completing an Honours Bachelor of Health Science degree at Carleton University. Health care and healing have always been of interest for her. Prior to becoming a massage therapist, she had been a doula and Shiatsu massage practitioner for more than 12 years, and has attended more than 100 births. Her approach to body work is coloured by her experience with Shiatsu and those techniques are integrated into many of her treatments. As a former doula and mother of 4 children herself, Allison has a deep understanding of the physical challenges of being pregnant and how childbearing and parenting may affect your body.

In the last few years, Allison has shifted her own fitness focus from distance running to weightlifting and is interested in working with strength athletes of all types to try and encourage injury prevention and improve mobility. 


Serah Rounds-Zavitz

Serah is a Registered Massage Therapist and an Algonquin College graduate from the Intensive Massage Therapy program in 2018 and the Fitness and Health Promotion program in 2016. As a former athlete and coach Serah has an extensive background in sports-related injuries, injury prevention, rehabilitation and chronic pain management.

As a therapist who has spent much of her career working with motor vehicle accidents Serah is experienced in treating concussion and whiplash by relieving symptoms and assisting in the healing process.

Specializing in deep tissue therapeutic massage with a background in exercise prescription Serah hopes to bring her clients a well-rounded experience.

Natalie Campeau

Natalie Campeau is a bilingual (French & English) graduate from the three year Algonquin College Massage Therapy Program. She is an active member of the College of Massage Therapist of Ontario (CMTO) and the Registered Massage Therapists Association of Ontario (RMTAO). Prior to studying Massage Therapy, she attended the University of Ottawa receiving a degree in English.

With her academic background and her love for sports, understanding the human body came naturally. She has experience in pre/post natal massage, sports massage, chronic pain and myofascial release. With her dedication and enthusiasm, she aims to help individuals reach their wellness goals and gain confidence in their everyday lives.


Melinda Franco

Melinda Franco

Melinda Franco graduated from Algonquin College in 2010 and is registered with the CMTO. Melinda has experience in treating all ranges of clients in different stages of healing. She has taken courses specializing in movement, mobility, postural alignment, and indie head massage.

Her treatment focuses on deep tissue massage, sports therapy, myofascial release, pre and post natal massage, pelvic pain, and treating every day aches and pains from headaches to overall muscular tension. She is dedicated to providing the highest standard of care, along with a warm, friendly service in a relaxing environment. In her spare time Melinda is an avid marathoner, cyclist and traveler.


Jennifer Kellar

Jennifer Kellar

Jennifer’s love of movement and health began in 2007 when she became a Certified Personal Trainer (NSCA) and a Corrective Exercise Specialist (NASM). She has nine years of experience in a multidisciplinary sports therapy clinic as a trainer and consultant. Jennifer was the medical trainer for a Junior A hockey team when she decided to add a manual therapy approach to her skills and returned to school to become an RMT. She instantly fell in love with massage and the changes both physically and mentally it can have on the body and mind. She was at Skyward Active Health Center since it opened in 2015.

She enjoys working with injury and chronic pain rehabilitation as both an RMT and personal trainer. Jennifer has experience with a variety of clients and has taken additional training in Sports Massage, Pregnancy Massage and Reconciling Biomechanics with Pain Science. Jennifer applies the two complimentary modalities of massage and training to help people move and feel better so that they can lead the most active, healthy and pain free lifestyles possible. Jennifer loves yoga, strength training and competing in triathlons.

Jessica Dionne

Jessica Dionne is an honours graduate from the massage therapy program at Georgian College in Barrie, ON. Prior to becoming a registered massage therapist, she earned a Kinesiology degree from Lakehead University where she developed her passion for working with the human body.

Be it deep tissue massage, injury rehabilitation, pre/postnatal, chronic pain management or deep tissue massage, Jessica enjoys working with a variety of clients.


Lindsay Meyers

Lindsay graduated at the top of her class with academic honours from Centennial College and is in good standing with the CMTO.

Viewing the body like a puzzle, she is determined to find the route cause of everyday aches and pains through trigger point therapy, joint mobilization, and deeper pressure if needed. With over 10 years of experience in the hospitality industry her treatment style is very wellness focused while still incorporating the more orthopedic side of massage into the session. As a member of the LGBTQIA2S+ community she creates a safe space and warmly welcomes all clientele.

Outside of the clinic Lindsay enjoys playing music, camping, biking, and basically anything to do with the outdoors.


Kelly Thorne

Kelly Thorne

Kelly began practicing as a Registered Massage Therapist in 2011, after graduating with honours from the Sutherland-Chan School & Teaching Clinic in Toronto. Since then, she has worked in a wide variety of settings, including a massage therapy clinic and women's wellness spa in Toronto, as well as a sports chiropractic clinic in her hometown of Orillia. Before pursuing a career in massage, Kelly attended Queen's University; completing a Bachelor of Science (Honours) degree in Biology and Health Studies. Kelly strongly believes in the healing power of touch for both the body and mind, and understands that these two things are never mutually exclusive.

Kelly prides herself on her ability to individualize her treatments, using a blend of deep and relaxing techniques, in order to give a therapeutic treatment that is both effective and enjoyable. Being an avid runner and cyclist herself, Kelly enjoys treating sports-related conditions and assisting clients in achieving their athletic goals. She also loves pre- and post-natal massage, and working with those suffering from chronic pain conditions. Since moving to the Ottawa area, Kelly has begun  pursuing nordic skiing and trail running as her new passions, and is currently training for her first Ultra race this year.


Alexander Belanger

Alexander Belanger

Graduating with Honours in 2019 from the international academy of massage Alexander is registered with the College of Massage Therapists of Ontario (CMTO) and a member in good standing of the Registered Massage Therapists’ Association of Ontario (RMTAO).  Alexander has spent the better part of the last decade as a coach and personal trainer working with clients helping them achieve their fitness goals. Early on he transitioned towards working specifically with those interested in injury prevention or those rehabilitating from injury. In order to further his knowledge of the body and how to more effectively treat clients hands on, Alexander enrolled in a Massage therapy program. His understanding of corrective exercise as part of the rehab process along with therapeutic massage treatment is second to none.

If you’ve recently taken up a new fitness routine or are looking for treatment for an acute or long standing injury Alexander is a wealth of knowledge that will make you feel like new!


Arlene Flemming

Arlene’s treatment approach is rooted in the belief in the body's ability to self-correct, and return to a state of balance, of homeostasis, in particular by utilizing Eastern Medicine modalities. She is a dual registrant, both as a Registered Massage Therapist, and as a Registered Acupuncturist. Arlene is a passionate educator - teaching for both the Acupuncture and Massage Therapy programs at the International Academy of Applied Health, and creating workshops. She was the Program Director for the International Academy of Traditional Chinese Medicine until mid-2023.

Since becoming registered with the CMTO in 2005, Arlene has continued her studies, including: Tibetan Acupressure System; Craniosacral therapy level 1 (Upledger); Thai Yoga Massage and Reflexology (ITM, Thailand); and Balance Method acupuncture (Dr Richard Tan). In addition, Arlene offers Cupping, Gua sha, Acupuncture (since 2014 as an RMT, and a few years later as an R.Ac.), and Acupressure as options to include in treatments. She is dedicated to continuing life-long learning and is part of the Class of 2024, studying for her Master in Education - Health Professions Education, at the University of Ottawa.

When not at work, time is spent enjoying walks, skiing, writing, learning, genealogy and travelling with her family.


Aleisha Bates

Aleisha Bates

Aleisha graduated with honours in April 2021 with an Advanced Diploma in Massage Therapy at Algonquin College. Prior to studying massage, she attended McGill University for a degree in Kinesiology and practiced as a Registered Kinesiologist for over three years. She has worked as a student athletic therapist, physiotherapy assistant, office admin and Kinesiologist and believes all of her adventures led her to find her place in Massage Therapy. She incorporates her Kinesiology (study of human movement) background into her massage practice to help you achieve the best possible outcome. 

Aleisha has a passion for women’s health and has training in breast massage, prenatal and oncology patients. She is a Certified Lymphedema Therapist (CLT) and offers Manual Lymphatic Drainage (MLD) for clients who have lymphedema or acute and chronic swelling to an area of the body. She has plans to continue her education in pre- and post-natal massage. She is registered with the College of Massage Therapists of Ontario (CMTO) and a member in good standing of the Registered Massage Therapists Association of Ontario (RMTAO). 

If she isn’t at the clinic you can likely expect that she is golfing,  taking a hot yoga class, at a family/friend gathering or eating some kind of delicious food. 

Aleisha loves hearing people’s stories, and genuinely wants to help you heal. She prides herself in using a mixture of massage techniques and can also perform cupping in her treatments. She wants you to leave the treatment room feeling heard, respected, relaxed and with a smile on your face. She can’t wait to meet you.


Andrew Flemming

Andrew Fleming graduated from the International Academy of Massage in 2009. He is an active member of the College of Massage Therapists' of Ontario (CMTO) and the Registered Massage Therapists' Association of Ontario (RMTAO). Prior to studying Massage Therapy, Andrew attended the University of Guelph where he completed a Bachelor of Arts degree (Honours), majoring in Sociology.

Since becoming a Massage Therapist in 2009, Andrew has continued his studies in Shiatsu, and Table Thai Yoga Massage. He likes to use a variety of modalities during treatment including: Myofascial Release, Trigger Point Therapy, PNF stretching, and Swedish massage techniques

In his spare time, Andrew enjoys playing guitar, gardening, training in Bataireacht (Irish Stick Fighting) and Historical European Martial Arts (HEMA).


Shawna Colbey

Shawna Colbey graduated from the 3 year Massage Therapy program at Sir Sandford Fleming College located in Peterborough, Ontario in 2005. After a few months of practicing in her home town of St. Catharines, Ontario she moved to Ottawa and has been practicing there since.

Shawna has worked in numerous settings including a Chiropractic office, Therapeutic Spa, and Clinical Massage Therapy. She has experience in treating numerous types of injuries including sprains, strains, frozen shoulder, pre/post natal care, myofascial hypertonicity, running/triathlon related injuries, and of course relaxation and general well-being.

Shawna is a wife and a mother. And in her spare time enjoys travelling, running and spending time with her friends and family. Most of her trips take her to run races at Disney World, or to visit family elsewhere in Ontario.
