Meet The Founder

Anna Bélanger is a Registered Massage Therapist who graduated from the 3000 hour program at BC’s West Coast College of Massage Therapy, with a speciality in women’s health.  After moving to Ottawa with her family in 2008, Anna opened her flagship clinic in Old Ottawa South with a focus on women’s health, particularly prenatal health. Over the 10+ years since opening that clinic, Anna has opened other locations; Barrhaven and Shopify, recruiting many educated, driven, strong, passionate, massage therapists to the team. She recently moved the Old Ottawa South location to the Glebe. Under her leadership, Anna Bélanger and Associates has become the trusted provider of pre and postnatal massage in Ottawa. While the clinics continue to provide prenatal massage, the many excellent therapists are known to provide excellent sports and therapeutic massage therapy to all clients.

As part of her pursuit of a healthy lifestyle, Anna is an avid amateur athlete, who pushes herself to excel. She feels that an active lifestyle helps her to support her clients and colleagues.  She runs marathons and triathlons and is looking forward to completing her first full Ironman in 2022.  She has also competed, and won gold at the 2016 Karate/Kickboxing World Championships in Ireland. She encourages her therapists to pursue their own athletic challenges, so that they also understand the needs of their clients.

In 2017, BMO for Women recognized Anna for her Expansion and Growth of a Small Business. In 2018 she was a finalist for the Business Woman of the year award in Ottawa. In an effort to continue to improve her own business acumen and knowledge, Anna has already completed her Professional level of coaching with Integral Coaching Canada, and is working to complete her Masters Level by 2023.  Anna hopes to mentor other business women in the future.

As a business owner, coach and mentor to the clinic staff and her clients, Anna feels that it is important to lead by example. Anna Bélanger and Associates is a dedicated United Way Sponsor, the clinics also donate prizes to be won for the CHEO lottery. In addition to these financial donations, she volunteers extensively for various charities. In 2020, Anna is working with Conquer Covid-19, a grass-roots volunteer organization that facilitates delivery of PPE to frontline healthcare workers in the community. Anna feels that she has been blessed with an abundance of opportunity and feels that she and her business should give back to the community at large whenever possible.
