Deep Tissue / Sports Massage
Deep tissue massage focuses on re-aligning deeper layers of muscles and connective tissue. It’s especially helpful for chronically tense and contracted areas such as stiff necks, lower back tightness and sore shoulders. The movement is slower and the pressure concentrated on areas of tension and pain.

MPS Scar Tissue
Microcurrent Point Stimulation (MPS) Therapy uses simultaneous application of a safe low level electrical impulse to each side of a scar, helping increase the mobility of old or new scars. The micro-current helps to relax and fade scar tissue, which can impede the function of muscles and fascia while causing pain and decreasing range of motion. It works most effectively on Cesarean section and post surgical scars.
Relaxation Massage
The therapist generally uses lotion to facilitate long, smooth strokes over the body. Swedish massage is done with the person covered by a sheet, a technique called “draping”. One part of the body uncovered, massaged, and then covered up before moving on to another part of the body.

Acupuncture Services
Acupuncture involves the insertion of very thin needles through your skin at strategic points on your body. A key component of traditional Chinese medicine, acupuncture is most commonly used to treat pain. Increasingly, it is being used for overall wellness, including stress management.
Traditional Chinese medicine explains acupuncture as a technique for balancing the flow of energy or life force — known as chi or qi (chee) — believed to flow through pathways (meridians) in your body. By inserting needles into specific points along these meridians, acupuncture practitioners believe that your energy flow will re-balance.
Manual Lymphatic Drainage
Manual Lymphatic Drainage uses very light pressure to apply a specific sequence of relaxing techniques that enhance the function of the lymphatic system. The lymphatic system plays an important role in the bodies natural healing process and immune response but due various reasons it may not be working efficiently and visible swelling (edema) develops. An MLD treatment is especially useful for improving wound healing and decreasing both chronic edema related to medical conditions and acute edema such as the swelling that occurs after an injury or surgery. A 45 minute treatment is ideal when dealing with one to 2 specific areas of the body while a 60 minute treatment is best when the goal is a whole system approach.

Craniosacral Therapy
Craniosacral therapy takes a whole-person approach to healing. The inter-connections of mind, body and spirit are acknowledged, as well as how the body reflects experiences and retains the memory of trauma. It is an effective form of treatment for a wide range of illnesses, helping to create the optimal conditions for health, encouraging vitality and facilitating a sense of well-being.
