Anna Belanger is a dynamic entrepreneur, educator, philanthropist, and community leader whose impact extends far beyond the treatment room. After graduating from the West Coast College of Massage in 2005, she moved to Ottawa in 2008 and, in 2009, founded Anna Belanger & Associates with a bold and visionary focus: creating a niche practice dedicated exclusively to pre- and postnatal care. At a time when specialized perinatal massage was not widely recognized, Anna filled a critical gap in women’s health services, building a trusted space where mothers felt seen, supported, and expertly cared for. What began as a small, focused practice has grown into three thriving clinics in Ottawa’s Glebe, Barrhaven, and Beechwood communities, known for their exceptional standards of care and the strong, values-driven team Anna mentors and leads.
Deeply committed to education and advocacy, Anna has taught at Algonquin College through the Civic Hospital’s labour and delivery outreach program and at the International Academy of Massage, where she authored the curriculum for pre- and postnatal massage—helping shape the next generation of therapists in this specialized field. Her dedication to growth and whole-person wellness extends beyond manual therapy; she holds a Master’s in Integral Coaching, completed advanced training in applied neuroscience and brain health, and earned her Associate Certified Coach (ACC) designation through the International Coaching Federation. In 2025, she further strengthened her commitment to community leadership by becoming Treasurer of the Vanier BIA, supporting local business development and neighbourhood vitality. A philanthropist at heart, Anna actively supports local charities, community initiatives, and programs that foster connection and well-being across Ottawa.
Outside of her professional accomplishments, Anna embodies resilience and discipline as a lifelong athlete. She is a certified Triathlon Community Coach, has run six marathons, completed four Half Ironmans, and proudly represented Canada in Ireland in 2016, winning gold in Veteran Women’s Kickboxing (WKC). Above all, she is a proud mother of four and grandmother of four, bringing the same passion, strength, and heart to her family as she does to every business, educational, and community endeavour she leads.
