James Hooke-Wood

James graduated with an advanced diploma in massage therapy from Sir Sandford Fleming College in 2022. The year prior, James obtained a graduate diploma in Applied Health Sciences from the University of Western Ontario. In this time, James also obtained his personal trainer certificate. In 2019 James graduated with a Bachelors of Cognitive Science with a specialization in Psychology from Carleton University. James’ background in both the physical and mental sciences allows him to approach treatments with a holistic approach of treating both the body and the mind.

Having played sports for Peterborough city and multiple universities, James also understands what it takes to perform at a high level of athleticism, how to get back to optimal performance after injuries, and how to prevent them in the first place. In addition, James’ experience as a personal trainer also enables him to provide in-depth home care stretching and resistance exercises to equip clients with all the tools they need for optimal health and performance.
